Synopsis
Fleeing post-war Europe, visionary architect László Toth arrives in America to rebuild his life, work and marriage with his wife Erzebeth after he was forced to divorce during the war, changing borders and regimes. Alone in a strange new land, Laszlo settles in Pennsylvania, where a wealthy and prominent industrialist, Harrison Lee Van Buren, recognizes his talent for construction. But power and legacy come at a high price.
