Synopsis
Follows a team of British intelligence agents who serve as MI5’s trash department because of their career-ending mistakes. Deep in the credits of “Camera Trainees”; Alfie Oldman, son of Gary Oldman, can be seen. He worked on several films starring Gary. Featured in Graham Norton and guests: Kristin Scott Thomas/George Takei/Claudia Winkleman/Jamie Oliver/First Aid Kit (2022). In my mind Jackson Lamb was Timothy Spall and Katherine Standish was Olivia Coleman and I think they would have pulled it off. That said the casting is perfect, everyone is great. There should also be a massive shout out to the location scouts, Slough House is exactly how I imagined it. The mood, plot and pacing are as good as Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. I loved the books so much and I’m so glad this didn’t get the over-the-top Hollywood treatment that these things often get. It kept the grime and humor that made the books so enjoyable. I’m on episode four and I can’t stop..
